1. Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple

Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is located on the Temple Street of Malleswaram, Bangalore or Bengaluru.  Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva.

2. Nandi Theertha

Nandi Theertha, also known as Sri Dakshinamukha Nandi Tirtha Kalyani Kshetra is a small temple that is located diagonally opposite Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple.  Similar to Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, Nandi Theertha is also dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The interiors of Nandi Theertha temple consists of a corridor with surrounding pillars around a Kalyani. The uniqueness of the temple is that a continuous stream of water flows out of the Nandi’s mouth and falls onto Lord Shiva in linga form through an opening in the floor.


3. Sri Gangamma Devi Temple

Sri Gangamma Devi Temple is located near Sri Kaadu Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple on the 2nd Temple Street of Malleswaram. Sri Gangamma Devi Temple is dedicated to Goddesses Ganga. 

A permanent Sri Gangamma Devi Temple was sanctified in the worship of the Goddess in 2004. Within the temple, there are smaller shrines for Ganesha, Subramanya and the Navagraha.

Every year thousands of devotees in and around Bangalore visit the temple during the Gangamma Jathre. Gangamma Jathre has been a tradition since 1928. During the festival, The deity is adorned with colourful flowers and the temple is decorated to match the grand event.  Devotees are seen enjoying along with their families and friends during the Gangamma Jathre.

4. Kannika Parameshwari Temple 

Kannika Parameshwari Temple is located on the 8th cross, Malleswaram. Kannika Parameshwari Temple is dedicated to Goddesses Sri Vasavi Maatha.

Sri Vasavi Maatha believed in Ahimsa and promoted the same during the 11th century AD. She believed and promoted the message that “harming oneself or others is not the way forward but bringing a change of heart is what matters in averting wars” [4]

5. Sri Mahaganapathi Temple

Sri Mahaganapathi Temple is one of the oldest and most famous temples located in the heart of Malleswaram. Sri Mahaganapathi Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. Don’t forget to recite 108 names of Ganesha to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha when you visit the temple.

6. Venkateshwara Temple

Venkateshwara Temple is an exact replica of the Lord Venkateshwara temple located in Tirumala. Venkateshwara Temple is located in Vyalikaval, Malleswaram, Bangalore and is managed by the Tirupathi Tirumala Devasthanam trust.

The Lord Venkateshwara Temple is constructed as per the instructions mentioned in the Agama Shastra and under the supervision of TTD trust architects. 

During the opening of the temple, the President of the TTD local advisory committee, P Shyamaraju says,

“The idols have been sculpted by TTD at their Shilpa Kendra and all of them are exact stone replicas of the ones at Tirumala. Even the jewellery has been made by the same people,” 

All pujas and sevas at the Venkateshwara Temple are conducted in the same spirit as in Tirumala and all contributions made in the temple is directly credited to TTD Hundi at Tirupathi.
