Navigation: Status > Tap on Status Privacy

You can set the status field to the options mentioned below,

  1. My contacts: Only your contacts can see your status
  2. My contacts except for Your contacts except the ones mentioned can see your status
  3. Only share with: Only a few of your contacts can see your status
